I’d rather stick with a Pixel A device for mid-tier phones. Even if Google’s hardware is a bit weak. I think if they have it at $300-350 it might sell like hot cakes.

Don’t you know this simple fact?
Why old oneplus phones were cheap? Because they could use Oppo’s R&D, Oppo’s supply chain, Oppo’s factory, and not use all the flagships of HTC, Samsung, LG, Sony, and Huawei.
Watch Essential PH-1… Own project from scratch and no own factories. The phone cost $700 in the United States and even more in Canada.

They know what they are doing. They spent too much money for anything to be a coincidence. Also, their headphones look like headphones.
icarly was a show about Nick. They had laptops with the logo of a pear. It was clearly inspired by Apple. They just didn’t want to be prosecuted.

Carl pei left 1+ because that company is no longer like his old agenda and also joined bbk which caused him to leave 1+.. means any product that nothing produces will never be under the same hood with no bbk product .. nothing will create their own ecosystem from scratch with their own team .. cooperate with a company but not bbk .. lol ..

For this new venture, it would be much easier and cheaper to acquire any project from Oppo and have phones assembled in Oppo’s factories compared to designing from scratch and paying Foxconn to building.
I wouldn’t be surprised if many components come from the same vendors that sell to BBk.

Okay, even though I didn’t like Nothing from the start because I suspected it would have all the marketing and no actual delivery, I’m starting to like the Nothing phone more and more. I’m a HUGE fan of the notification lights on the back, as you can stay up to date even with your screen off, and it grabs your attention way more than a standard AOD notification.

Does this meme or the back logo does not look like Apple logo. Almost as if they wanted to be sued by Apple. The only difference is that it has very innovative rear lights, unlike what you’ve seen on most gaming phones before.

The only disappointment is the so-called transparent back, which is as transparent as politics.
LED strips compensate for this.
Also, despite the iPhonish chassis, this phone legitimately has nothing in common with the device you cited.

This comments section is so downbeat, opposed to something new, and honestly, disappointing for an enthusiast. This phone, in someone’s hand, would be more identifiable than a Pixel 6/6 Pro and people called this design revolutionary. How people started calling this phone a failure before we even got to see its front, I have no idea. Maybe we have time travelers in this comment section and the “Sic Mundus Creatus Est” is very contextual in this scenario. Pathetic of you.
